The role

 

South East Water is now seeking an experienced Test Analyst who will play a vital role in the software maintenance process. Their primary responsibility will be to ensure that the HiAffinity application (South East Water's main billing platform, a Hansen product) performs as expected and that it’s system regression suite is maintained and can deliver reliable test results.  This is an initial 12 month, maximum-term contract with possible extension.

 

This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, utilities billing processes, HiAffinity knowledge and exemplary attention to detail.

Who are you?

 

A passionate and driven Test Analyst with experience in HiAffinity, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role in software testing. Backed by a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field, candidates will have a strong working knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (V-Model, Agile).

 

The following other skills, knowledge and experience will ensure you will succeed in your new role:

 

  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to achieving high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • ISTQB certifications are a plus (CTFL, CTFL-AT, CTAL-TA).
  • Previous experience in the utilities industry is a plus.

This role is remunerated at a Level 4, which is between $104,610 and $118,365 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
