The role
An exciting opportunity has just become available for an experienced Talent Advisor to join South East Water's (SEW) People Operations Team.
This role will provide specialist advice and delivery in the areas of recruitment, selection and role sizing advice to ensure SEW is best positioned to attract and retain the best talent.
The Talent Advisor will with work closely with the wider People Operations team and South East Water leaders to deliver an efficient and effective recruitment function that supports the needs of the business, whilst delivering an excellent candidate experience. In addition to managing the end-to-end recruitment process, the Talent Advisor will provide role sizing advice and work with the business partners to offer remuneration insights and recommendations in line with market trends. This role will maintain and recommend improvements to relevant systems, processes, policy and strategies, to improve the overall talent strategy.
Who are you?
A natural born people-person, you will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to effortlessly build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Backed up by several years of recruitment experience and a proven track record in partnering with leadership and business to deliver strategic recruitment and talent advice, you will also have a strong knowledge of Human Resources and the recruitment lifecycle, policies and best practices.
The following key skills, knowledge and experience will ensure you can immediately add value to the team:
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role with technical proficiency in remuneration functions.
- A strong analytical capability supported by intermediate skills in Excel
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise in an exceptionally busy role
- Excellent consulting and influencing skills
- A proven track record in effectively coaching others.
- A systems-thinking mindset and process enhancement to maximise IT systems
- Ability to plan, organise and deliver on day-to-day activities and projects
- Ability to keep abreast of legislative changes and knowledge in recruitment and remuneration trends
- Ability to work with autonomy and be self-driven.
The recruitment responsibilities will encompass areas such as Service Delivery, Liveable Water Solutions, and Digital Utility. Therefore, experience in engineering would be advantageous.

This role is remunerated at a Level 4, which is between $101,563 and $114,918 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
