The role
Join our Business Technology Services team and help shape the future of digital services aligned with our Sustainability strategy.
In this key 12-month maximum-term role, you’ll lead the design, development and enhancement of complex software applications across web, mobile, analytics, and customer-facing platforms. You’ll work with a range of technologies and provide technical leadership and guidance to both internal teams and external partners.
Some of the key accountabilities for the role will include the following:
- Understanding stakeholder requirements and delivering tailored solutions
- Designing and developing complex systems with integrated technologies
- Providing expert advice on Microsoft and Angular technologies
- Ensuring performance, maintainability, and compatibility across applications
- Supporting compliance and guiding project teams with technical leadership
- Contributing to testing, release planning, and risk analysis
- Maintaining support processes and resolving issues proactively
- Documenting problem analysis and coordinating solutions
Who are you?
An experienced Software Designer who thrives in building robust, user-focused applications and enjoys working across the full development lifecycle, you'll bring a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset to every project.
The following key skills, knowledge and experience are also required to ensure your success in this maximum-term, 12-month role:
- 5+ years’ experience in Windows and web application development using Microsoft technologies
- Strong skills in .NET, .NET Core 3+, C#, AngularJS, Node.js, and JavaScript
- Front-end experience with HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, jQuery, and responsive UI design
- Solid database development experience with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and web services
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and translating specifications into functional solutions
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like JIRA
- Knowledge of source control and CI/CD using Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or TFS
- Exposure to systems integration, messaging, and platforms like Boomi, Tibco, and LiveLink
- Good problem-solving skills and initiative to resolve issues proactively
- Understanding of Windows Server environments, IIS, and application servers

This role is remunerated at a Level 5, which is between $115,000 and $125,000 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
