Senior Project Coordinator - 12 month contract

The role

 

Join our Operational Technology team on a 12-month contract as the Senior Project Coordinator to work closely with the SCADA Manager and the interdisciplinary team to effectively deliver SCADA Projects. This role entails orchestrating seamless communication and cooperation across various departments to ensure the successful delivery of these projects. 

 

Day to day, the role involves:

 

  • Supporting the SCADA Team to ensure the RFQ, tender and business case documentation is reviewed and completed by internal stakeholders to ensure collaboration and buy-in through all stages of the project
  • Supporting the team to ensure compliance and governance of the project are met and financial and commercial aspects of the project are delivered
  • Working closely alongside key internal managers and consultants, coordinating and providing support and guidance to ensure project key deliverables are achieved
  • Coordination of the overall structure and administration of project documentation and scheduling of key project plan timelines with stakeholders
  • Coordination of cross-functional workshops and meetings, including assisting in the facilitation of some workshops at times

Who are you?

 

Ideally, you have experience working in a Project Coordinator capacity with knowledge or experience in the water industry, however training will be provided.

 

We're looking for a strong communicator with demonstrated experience in effectively support a team and collaborating with stakeholders, with skills or experience in the below areas:

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint
  • Experience in finance and procurement including supporting the management of RFQs and tenders end to end including developing the scope, evaluation panels, and awarding contracts
  • A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Administration, finance, procurement and a data analytical background will be looked upon favourably
  • Tertiary and/or technical qualifications (project management, administration management, commerce, engineering, or related disciplines) - desirable
  • Experience with Oracle Procurement / Projects or similar systems - desirable

This role is remunerated at a Level 5, which is from $112,377, + superannuation, and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience
