The role
At South East Water we are dedicated to providing high-quality services and solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. South East Water’s extensive pipe networks, facilities such as treatment plants and pump stations and new IoT solutions enable us to deliver reliable and cost-effective services to our customers. The design, operation and maintenance of these assets is supported by an integrated suite of IT systems, which are managed by specialist teams.
We are now seeking a Salesforce Administrator for an 8-month, maximum term contract (until 30 June 2026) with an in-depth knowledge of Salesforce - South East Water's critical customer relationship management (CRM) system. As a key member of the Applications Business Team, this role will work with business stakeholders, other IT teams and industry partners to ensure that operational needs are met and planned new features and capabilities are successfully delivered. The role will be responsible for driving business analysis, enhancements, testing, deployment, support and administration across the Salesforce application.
Some of your key accountabilities will include:
- Ensuring that application software meets business requirements and goals, fulfils user requirements and identifies and resolves systems issues.
- Analysing business and technical opportunities, risks and problems to devise and implement application solutions
- Managing technical configuration, performance and reliability of selected applications
- Supporting and resolving application service desk tickets that have been escalated
- Recommending additional hardware or software requirements needed for successful application deployments
- Evaluating, installing, configuring and deploying applications, systems software, products and/or enhancements to existing applications
- Performing daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the application, installing and configuring patches and upgrades as required.
Who are you?
If this challenging role appeals, you’ll require the following skills, knowledge and experience to be considered:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology and/or Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Developer, Sales/Service Cloud
- 5+ years’ experience in managing Salesforce platforms across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Service Cloud Voice, Digital Experience Cloud and Marketing Cloud
- Experience with Service Cloud Voice and Amazon Connect is desirable
- Strong experience with code deployments, release management, Apex, Lightning component/web component, SOQL, web services, APIs, integration, DevOps and Salesforce DX
- Strong experience as Senior System Administrator on the Salesforce Platform with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, Flows, SOQL queries, process builders, custom views, security, permissions management and other content of intermediate complexity within the Salesforce platform
- Experience with DevOps, continuous integration and deployment practices and tools, such as code versioning, test automation, code analysis, and code quality metrics
- Experience in Informatica, Experian and Azure is desirable
- Experience in Service Desk support environment, providing IT support services within similar sized organisations is desirable
- Coordination of Salesforce environments including sandbox refreshes, establishing deployment and release strategies across Production and Test environments
- Experience in working collaboratively and influencing a wide range of technical and business stakeholders to deliver quality solutions

This role is remunerated at a Level 5, which is between $115,748 and $125,248 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
