Program Manager - Major Works

The role

 

The Program Manager, Major Works will lead a program of work encompassing multiple large scale projects within the Liveable Water Solutions group, commencing with program analysis and seeing it through to handover with the Service Delivery group (operations and maintenance). The Program Manager is responsible for strategic planning, management & co-ordination and technical leadership of all elements of the program, in addition to people leadership of the assigned program employees.

 

Who are you?

 

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong project management skills along with the ability to;

  • engage with external stakeholders to develop and document the vision and strategic intent of the program
  • problem solve across intra and inter organisational boundaries from strategy through to program delivery identifying improvements and / or change of direction as required
  • successfully guide people through change management whilst developing and maintaining strong relationships

 

You will have;

  • extensive knowledge of water, sewer, and waste water treatment plant industry, asset design and construction methodologies
  • proven experience in managing and delivering large multi – disciplinary programs and capital works in the water industry
  • tertiary engineering qualifications, project management qualifications or significant experience (10-15) years in the water industry
