People Insights Analyst

The role
Reporting to the Group Manager Future Workforce, the People Insights Analyst is responsible for collecting, analysing and interpreting organisation-wide people data to drive informed decision making and strategic planning.
You will play a critical part in ensuring governance and legislative people reporting requirements are met, while providing valuable insights into workforce trends, ensuring we can optimise workforce effectiveness and enhance organisational performance.
You will ensure that the board, its committees and the executive team have visibility on progress and risks against key strategic deliverables and metrics relating to employees, as well as providing insights for people leaders into people-related data trends to aid data-informed decisions.
In addition, the role will apply a continuous improvement lens to people-related processes, ensuring they are optimised for reporting efficiencies and accuracy, and are well documented.
This role is available on a part-time basis, across 3-5 days.
Who are you?
The preferred candidate will hold demonstrable experience in Human Resources data analytics, having worked with HR data systems and tools including SAP HRIS and ATS. Additionally, you’ll hold the following skills and attributes:
- Strong expertise in data visualisation and statistical analysis
- Solid experience and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data solutions
- Experience in coding and statistical software applications, such as Tableau, Python, Azure and DataBricks is desirable

This role is remunerated at a Level 5, which is between $112,377 and $118,760 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
