People Administrator

The role
The People Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the People Operations team, ensuring accurate employee data management, and maintaining human resource systems and records. This role plays a key part in supporting the administrative elements of people operations, including processing employment changes, managing compliance documentation, and facilitating onboarding for new employees.
The People Administrator will be expected to collaborate and work closely with the wider People Operations Team to ensure our internal customers receive a high standard of service and support.
Some of the key accountabilities for the role will include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the People Operations team
- Acting as the initial point of contact for employees, responding to initial inquiries and tasks
- Managing position amendments and employee change requests ensuring accurate and timely updates in HRIS.
- Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes
- Generating and distributing employee change letters
- Facilitating induction programs for new starters
- Providing support to the payroll team as needed, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll services.
Who are you?
To be considered for this role, you'll possess at least one-to-two years of experience in a HR administrative role or similar, possibly supported by a tertiary qualification in Human Resources and/or knowledge of Industrial Awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, Employment Law and the Fair Work Act.

- Organisational skills and an ability to handle multiple workloads and competing priorities
- Analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to be discrete and deal professionally with confidential information, issues and data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as customer service skills, focusing on building relationships.
- Proficiency in HR systems and data management tools
- Experience in scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Ability to connect and work collaboratively in a fast-paced people environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills

This role is remunerated at a Level 2 which is between $82,036 and $93,388 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
