The role

 

South East Water is now seeking a passionate and highly skilled professional to join their Business and Technology Services team as an Oracle Primavera Subject Matter Expert (SME) for an initial twelve (12) month maximum term.  This role will allow you to showcase your expertise in Oracle Primavera Cloud and Portfolio, Program and Project Management operating models.

 

Reporting into the Head of Project Delivery, this role will encompass some of the following key accountabilities:

 

  • Reviewing documentation, including function/technical designs, configuration setup and key project documentation.
  • Working closely with development teams, project managers, the PMO and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on design and implementation
  • Advising stakeholders and the wider organisation on the functionality of Oracle Primavera Cloud and promoting the adoption of best practices design and implementation
  • Assisting team members in enhancing their understanding of Oracle technologies, and ensuring the strategy remains business and technology aligned and enabled.
  • Working with functional BAs on the development of User Stories, acceptance criteria and Test Cases.
  • Working closely with the Solution Architects to provide the knowledge of the impacts of downstream and upstream applications.
  • Providing a review of business processes and suggesting improvements or redesign where appropriate.

 

 

Who are you?

 

Suitable candidates will possess a demonstrated and thorough working knowledge and understanding of Oracle Primavera Cloud and will know how to leverage the OPC application to enable best practice Portfolio, Program and Project management practices at an enterprise level.  Possessing a tertiary qualification in an IT discipline, and or  relevant work experience, you will have a range of relevant technology certifications across the infrastructure landscape to back up your specialist practice.

 

Armed with at least two years of experience working in platform support teams, and experience in working in hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments, the ability to understand and disseminate industry terminology and concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders is something you do with ease.   If this sounds like you and you're looking for a great project to add real value to, then we strongly suggest you hit 'Apply Now' below!  We're waiting to hear from you...

This is a Senior Officer position, which means that the salary range is inclusive of super.  The total package on offer for this role is $160,000-$165,000.

 

South East Water operates a 24/7 service environment. Whilst this role does not involve after-hours rostered duty, all employees may be required to provide out of hours support from time to time as required
