The role

 

Join a team where you’ll be right at the centre of real‑time cyber defence. As a Junior SOC Analyst, you’ll monitor live security alerts, investigate potential threats, and help keep critical systems running safely. Working alongside experienced security specialists, you’ll analyse incidents, uncover root causes, and contribute to stronger threat detection and response capabilities across the organisation.

 

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑moving environment and enjoys digging into technical detail to understand what’s really happening behind the scenes.

Who are you?

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge and experience:

 

  • 2+ years’ experience in SOC operations, incident response, or digital forensics, with exposure to SIEM, EDR and forensic tools.
  • Solid understanding of cyber threats, attack techniques and incident response frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess incidents quickly and communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and cloud‑based incident response environments (Azure, AWS).
  • A relevant degree (Cybersecurity, Computer Science or similar) — with certifications like GCIH, GCFA, CISSP, CEH or OSCP viewed favourably.

This role is remunerated between $104,610 and $118,365 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
