The role

 

Join our Business Technology Services team at South East Water, where we deliver innovative IT solutions aligned with our Sustainability strategy.

 

In this role, you’ll design, develop and support integration solutions using Boomi and Azure technologies. You’ll bring strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders. 

 

Some of your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Building and maintaining Boomi integrations, APIs, and reusable components;
  • Managing Boomi environments, deployments, and runtime configurations;
  • Implementing robust error handling, logging, and monitoring;
  • Designing secure, scalable integrations using Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, API Management); and
  • Applying secure development practices and troubleshooting integration issues.

Who are you?

 

A skilled Software Designer with a strong background in integration technologies and a passion for solving complex problems, you bring a proactive mindset, technical depth and a collaborative approach to every project.

 

The following skills, knowledge and experience will assist in making an impact:

 

  • A degree in IT or a related field (preferred) and 5+ years’ experience in software development
  • Hands-on expertise with Boomi AtomSphere, including connectors, APIs, error handling, and performance tuning
  • Experience with Azure integration services like Logic Apps, Functions, Data Factory, Service Bus, and API Management
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban), with experience using JIRA and Confluence
  • Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, OpenID, and Entra
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams
  • High attention to detail and adaptability to new technologies

This role is remunerated at a Level 5, which is between $115,748 and $128,761 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
