The role

 

We're seeking a collaborative, outcome-driven Health & Safety Administrator to join our People, Safety and Governance group in a permanent position.

 

In this newly developed role, the Health & Safety Administrator will work closely with the Group Manager Health & Safety and the wider team to achieve South East Water's Safety Strategy. This role is primarily responsible for health and safety administration activities, including co-ordination and promotion of existing initiatives and programs as well as supporting the development and implementation of new programs and processes. The role will provide support for various projects and operational tasks and will be involved in other administrative tasks such as invoicing, data entry and recording keeping, filing system and maintenance. In addition, this role will support the Health & Safety Lead oversee the administration requirements of Injury Management and Return to Work for employees presenting with work related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses in consultation with internal and external stakeholders.

With experience in a similar role and a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes, your passion for employee health and safety is your motivator. Your background in Health and Safety, provides you with an understanding of the importance of ensuring confidentiality and ensure strict adherence to privacy policies and procedures.

 

​​​​​​​Your well-developed communication skills and collaborative nature allow you to work with diverse teams and build strong, trusted relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. You enjoy working on projects and have strong planning and organisational skills. These skills paired with your ability to work autonomously, prioritise and meet deadlines make you a key part of any project team.

  • A competitive salary ranging between $89,021 and $100,666 plus superannuation, depending on experience.
