The role
As Head of Project Delivery, you will lead the delivery of technology solutions that support business operations, leveraging your experience in critical infrastructure environments. This position requires strong financial oversight, governance expertise, and a commitment to best practice project delivery. Additionally, you will be instrumental in driving organizational change through effective leadership and collaboration.
A critical influencer, collaborator and leader, you will be responsible for leading the Technology Project Delivery function, including Project Management, Business Analysis, Developer services, Testing services and the Program Management Office (PMO).
Who are you?
A confident and engaging leader, you will ideally possess degree-level qualifications in Information Technology or an appropriate related discipline. Programme and Project Management qualifications and/or certifications would put you at an advantage. Your strategic mindset will ensure you’re able to align project delivery with the overall goals of the organisation, whilst your ability to adapt as projects evolve and circumstances change will be crucial. Your excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) will assist you in building relationships across the business and influencing key project stakeholders. With an innate ability to convey complex information concisely, you'll also be an innovator with strong problem-solving skills.
At South East Water, our Business Technology Services group is guided by the Australian Computer Society SFIA Skills Framework. This role operates between Levels 6 and 7 in the following key areas:
