Electrical Draftsperson

The role
The Electrical Draftsperson is responsible for updating and verifying electrical schematics and single line diagrams, and ensuring they are properly registered in South East Water's (SEW) drawing management system following any modification or installation of electrical assets throughout their water and sewer networks, including water recycling facilities.
Reporting into the Senior Electrical Technical Support Officer, with guidance from the Senior Electrical Draftsperson, this office-based role is also required to create electrical design drawings for modification or construction activities on minor electrical assets, such as pump station switchboards.
Who are you?
In order to be considered for this role, candidates will possess a minimum of five (5) years of industrial electrical drafting experience, including electrical design drafting and hold a previous electrical trade qualification or a significant amount of equivalent experience.
The following key essential skills, experience and knowledge will put you in the best possible position for an interview:
- High level computer skills and experience, including a minimum of five (5) years' experience with AutoCAD;
- Extensive experience with drawing management systems and experience in the creation of technical spreadsheets and/or databases.
- High level of attention to detail, excellent organisation skills and sound numeracy skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of appropriate Australian, International and Industry Standards as they relate to electrical drawings.

This role is remunerated at a Level 4, which is between $101,563 and $114,918 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
