Capital Delivery Project Controls Lead

The role

 

As the Capital Delivery Project Controls Lead, you will apply your expertise in project scheduling, tracking, and reporting to develop, implement, and maintain project, program, and portfolio controls.

You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule management, project lifecycle tracking, and reporting of risks, delays, and milestones.

You will be responsible for the integration of project controls software, ensuring consistency in scheduling methodologies, and leveraging consultancy support to enhance project oversight.

You will rely on range of shared internal and consultancy resources to achieve the required outcomes of the role.

Who are you?

 

 

To be considered for this position, you will hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Project Management, Engineering or other related fields and possess skills and experience in the following areas:

  • Certification in PRINCE 2, PMBOK, PMP, Program Management or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7+ years professional work experience in project controls, program management and/or PMO function with infrastructure/ construction industry context.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead program scheduling frameworks and integrate scheduling processes with financial forecasting and reporting including Earned Value, Cost and Schedule Performance Index analysis.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams and drive process improvements.
  • Strong experience in capital project scheduling, project controls, and lifecycle management within a capital project or infrastructure environment.
  • Proven expertise in implementing and managing Primavera P6 or equivalent project scheduling tools.
